The answer is no. Panic attacks only last for a few minutes...they peak from 5 to 15 minutes, then they go away. You might have several in the course of a day, but each panic attack episode does not last for hours, and therefore does not last for days.
What you might be experiencing is significant anxiety symptoms with the chronic activation of the fight or flight response. Take the anxiety test to determine your level of anxiety, and it gives you an initial plan to start reducing your anxiety.
