Actually, a great way to reduce your anxiety is to fall asleep. When you are stressed, anxious, and worried, you are not able to fall asleep as you are so tense and aroused. However, falling asleep can help to facilitate a reduction of your arousal and stress levels.

A great way to fall asleep is to take melatonin, a natural hormone that our brain releases into the bloodstream when the brain senses darkness through the eyes. Melatonin is the body's natural sedative, and can help to facilitate sleep. The usual dosage for melatonin is 3mg to 6mg at bedtime.

Another way to fall asleep is to take diphenhydramine (Benadryl). Benadryl is an over the counter medication, and can be used to facilitate sleep. The usual dosage for Benadryl for sleep is 25mg to 50mg at bedtime.

So taking melatonin or Benadryl can help you to fall asleep, and can help you to rest, recuperate, and reduce your overall anxiety levels.
