The ingredients in KalmPro that help to decrease anxiety immediately are theanine, passionfower, lemon balm, and lavender. These ingredients work like benzodiazepines in that they modulate the GABA neurotransmitter in the brain.

The ingredient that works long term for relief of anxiety is inositol, as it works similar to SSRIs, and affects the serotonin neurotransmitter in the brain.

Although you may see an immediate effect on anxiety, it can still take up to 6 to 8 weeks before the full effects of KalmPro are realized.
