[SPOILER ALERT: the following descriptions give important plot details.] Two movies come to mind: The Vanishing (1993) starring Kiefer Sutherland, Jeff Bridges, and Sandra Bullock, and Buried (2010) starring Ryan Reynolds. In both movies, people are buried alive, which is the ultimate claustrophobic nightmare. I will not give further movie details for the benefit of those who have yet to watch these riveting movies.
