Is Remeron good for panic disorder?

Remeron (mirtazapine) is not a good first choice medication for panic disorder. Remeron can be considered for panic disorder, but only after other first-line treatment trials have failed, such as with SSRIs (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors) and SNRIs (serotonin norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors). So Remeron is not "good" for panic disorder, as there are other more proven treatments to try first.
