How does yoga affect the fight or flight response?

Yoga affects the fight or flight response by reducing it. Yoga helps to relax you, so you have have less anxiety. When you have less anxiety, you do not activate the fight or flight response as much. When you are fearful or anxious, then the amygdala is activated, then this in turn activates the fight or flight response. So yoga decreases anxiety, and therefore leads to decreased activation of the fight or flight response.
