The answer is yes. A fear of heights, also known as acrophobia, is inherently illogical, as it starts from having illogical (irrational) thoughts about being in high places, such as being on top of tall buildings and tall bridges. You might think that the bridge or building may collapse. You might think that you will not be able to cope. You might think that you are going to be harmed. So these illogical thoughts then lead to anxious feelings, and your anxiety makes you avoid being in high places, which maintains your belief in the danger and the urgency of the situation, and this in turn feeds your continued irrational thinking whenever you are confronted with situations where you are in high places. So the fear of heights is illogical, as it starts with illogical thoughts.
