Is mysophobia a specific phobia?

Mysophobia is usually part of OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder), and not a specific phobia. Mysophobia is an extreme fear of germs and contamination. However, this germ contamination fear usually comes with compensatory cleaning compulsions. So when mysophobia is paired with cleaning (washing) compulsions, then it is OCD, rather than a specific phobia.
