The main difference between social phobia and agoraphobia is that social phobia is the fear of social scrutiny or the fear of embarassment in front of an audience, while agoraphobia is the fear of places where escape or help may be difficult in the event that you have a panic attack or other incapacitating symptom, such as incontinence or falling.
